Amador is a private member’s club nestled in the historic Bank of Italy building in downtown San Francisco. Our mission is to create a vibrant social club that goes beyond traditional private clubs to cultivate authentic connections and provide a best-in-class service experience. The club strives to foster a community that reflects the timeless spirit of San Francisco and provides members with a profound sense of belonging.

Amador was the nickname of Amadeo Pietro Giannini, founder of the Bank of Italy and visionary behind the iconic space we are privileged to occupy. A maverick even by today’s standards, he became legendary for his role in rebuilding San Francisco after the devastating earthquake of 1906. Not only did he change the face of banking by making it accessible to everyone, he was a champion of women’s rights, a risk taker and philanthropist who gave away most of his wealth to help others in need. We are proud to honor his legacy with our Club.
